Morshedul Islam
Mordshedul Islam was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1958. His first film, Time Ahead was a fictional account of the war of liberation in his country. He received international acclaim with The Wheel (1993) which won several awards including the International Critics' Award and Jury Award at the 42nd Mannheim Film Festival in Germany. After directing Dipu Number Two (1996), he went on to complete Dukhai (1997).
