Ahmet Ögüt

Ahmet Ögüt was born in Diyarbakir, Turkey in 1981. He graduated from Hacettepe University, with a degree in Painting and received his Masters in Art and Design from Yildiz Teknik University, Istanbul. Ögüt has exhibited widely, including Apexart (New York), 9th International Istanbul Biennial, Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Center in Istanbul, Rooseum Center for Contemporary Art in Malmö, The Museum of Modern Art of Ljubljana, Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade and Sparwasser HQ in Berlin. He also had a solo exhibition at Kunsthalle Basel in Basel. Ögüt lives and works in Amsterdam.
