Albert ter Heerdt
Albert ter Heerdt was born in Didam in Gelderland in the east Netherlands in 1960. He studied literature and film at Amsterdam University and has worked primarily as a writer of television series, some of which he also directed. Shouf Shouf Habibi! his cinematic debut as both writer and director was a box office success and Kicks has won best screenplay at Cairo Film Festival is already being compared to Oscar-winning film Crash.
